Chance of training

For a secure future

Training for teen

Vocational training

Giving young people a sound education after school and thus showing them prospects for the future must be the goal of any single economic market.

Namibia has a large number of vocational training centers for various fields (administration, hotel industry, crafts, etc.). These centers themselves do not have a good self-presentation and reputation. Most centers do not even have a website. Therefore, they cannot communicate any information to the young people.

Likewise, the training fees must be financed by the students themselves. With the help of Sonja Pack, member for school education in Namibia, an improved presentation as well as external communication for the vocational training centers is to take place in a project cooperation of private enterprises.

In addition, we want to enable individual young people to complete a vocational training center by making a financial donation. For this purpose, we got to know Catharina Mutumba, who is currently the only woman completing a motor vehicle training course near Swakopmund.

For further theory modules of 6 months a donation on the part of the foundation of 350, - € per module is financed.

Tandiwe success story

The story of Tandiwe is an inspiring success story from Namibia. Tandiwe grew up in a rural community and had a passion for arts and crafts from an early age. She dreamed of pursuing an education in this field, but her family did not have enough money to grant her this wish.

But Tandiwe did not give up. She began to teach herself how to dye and print fabrics and practiced embroidering garments. She sold her handmade products at local markets and was able to earn some money.

One day, a local designer heard of Tandiwe's talent and offered to hire her as an apprentice. Tandiwe gratefully accepted the offer and began her training. She learned everything about dyeing and printing fabrics and perfected her embroidery skills.

After completing her education, Tandiwe opened her own small store selling handmade clothing and accessories. She has since built up a loyal clientele and her products are popular with tourists and locals alike.

Tandiwe is proud that she has turned her passion into a profession and that she can support her family financially. She is an example that with hard work and perseverance you can make your dreams come true. Tandiwe is an inspiration to many young women in Namibia and beyond.
